ARC Raiders hit 2025 after years of delays, and we approached it cautiously. Embark Studios—former DICE and Battlefield pedigree—brought us a sci-fi extraction shooter caught between Tarkov's hardcore extraction mechanics and Destiny's accessible co-op design. We streamed 8.3 hours of squads fighting robots, extracting loot, and navigating a market absolutely saturated with extraction shooters trying to find their niche. Those 308 viewers watched us respect Embark's talent while recognizing the brutal reality: in 2025, even developer pedigree can't guarantee survival in a crowded genre. We documented the potential, the solid foundation, but also the haunting reality that great games can still disappear into the Steam graveyard if the live-service winds blow wrong. The house recognized we were watching a gamble play out in real time.
