ARK: Survival of the Fittest

We fired up ARK: Survival of the Fittest in 2020, Studio Wildcard's battle royale spin-off where seventy-two players fought to be the last one alive with dinosaurs. It was peak battle royale era, and the house brought 1,481 viewers who wanted Hunger Games with raptors and T-Rexes. The original launched in 2016, but the 2020 resurgence caught us at exactly the right moment. We streamed 0.3 hours and hit 370 hours watched—those 1,481 peak viewers proved that even a years-old spin-off of a broken survival game could pull an audience when the core loop of "tame the biggest dino, then murder everyone" actually worked.
