Curse of the Dead Gods

We streamed Curse of the Dead Gods in 2021 post-1.0 launch, and the house watched Passtech Games' corruption-heavy roguelite pull 510 peak viewers. Isometric temples. Stamina management. A unique curse meter that both powered you up and doomed you—every decision mattered. The game launched into Hades' shadow, which was brutal timing for something genuinely great. Steam reviews were Very Positive. Critics praised the risk/reward systems. But Supergiant had already claimed the roguelite throne in 2020, and Curse of the Dead Gods would forever be known as "that game that's like Hades but darker." It deserved better, but the market is Darwinian.
