Dungeon Hunter Champions hit the house in 2018 and we watched Gameloft take a swing in a new direction. They merged traditional ARPG campaign with 5v5 multiplayer, creating something that never quite satisfied either audience. The cartoonish art style and cross-platform ambitions sounded fresh, but launch issues plagued the experience.
