Encased

We caught Encased when it launched in September 2021. Dark Crystal Games was going for that old-school Fallout energy—isometric perspective, turn-based combat, consequence-driven choices in a retro-futuristic dome. The 403 peak viewers was nuts for an indie CRPG. That's the CRPG faithful showing up. We spent about 3 hours with it, and chat was really engaged with the skill checks and reactivity. These aren't the flashy action games, but people who love the genre? They show up when they see real depth.
