We strapped in for Guitar Hero Live in 2015 when Activision basically decided to throw out the rulebook and redesign the whole thing. That 6-button, two-row controller was wild—your pinky was officially unemployed. Our guitar hero live stream in 2015 was about embracing the chaos of a franchise willing to completely reinvent itself. Whether it worked or not, you had to respect the boldness of it.
