Last Oasis at StreamerHouse
StreamerHouse caught Last Oasis fever in 2020 with a peak of 513 viewers watching the walker-based nomadic survival MMO. The game launched in March 2020 to massive hype—players piloting giant wooden mechs across a dying Earth—but immediately crashed into a week-long server outage. When it finally stabilized, the house streamed a year's worth of clan warfare and oasis raids. The PvP-focused design split the community between those who wanted brutal faction wars and those wishing for more PvE content. By 2022, even the developers admitted in a Steam post titled "Last Oasis sucks" that they weren't having fun playing their own game. StreamerHouse was there for the ambitious walker combat and the spectacular flame-out, documenting both the innovative mechanics and the slow population decline that left servers feeling like ghost towns.
