Legends of Runeterra

Legends of Runeterra showed up at StreamerHouse in 2023 as Riot Games' free-to-play card game brought League of Legends champions to the digital tabletop. We streamed it and hit 210 peak viewers as the community checked in on how well Riot translated their IP into a strategic card experience. Apple named it iPad Game of the Year back in 2020, but by 2023 it was more quietly existing than dominating the TCG conversation. The deck-building was solid, the League IP integration was natural, and it offered a different angle on competitive card games. It was the kind of title that found its audience without needing to scream about it.
