Monstrum 2

Monstrum 2 stalked our streams in 2021—Team Junkfish's asymmetric horror with four prisoners against one player-controlled monster in a procedurally shifting sea fortress. We ran 8 hours of pure tension, watching the house coordinate escapes while someone hunted them as a deep-sea nightmare. The game never found the audience it deserved against Dead by Daylight's dominance, but those early access sessions were sweaty. Maritime horror, four-player coordination, creeping dread—Monstrum 2 had the formula, just not the population.
