NASCAR Heat Evolution at StreamerHouse
NASCAR Heat Evolution raced into StreamerHouse in 2016, somehow peaking at 2,771 viewers—the highest in this entire batch—for Monster Games' return to NASCAR development after 14 years away. Released September 13th for $59.99, the game marked Dusenberry Martin Racing's first NASCAR title after acquiring the license from Eutechnyx in 2015. StreamerHouse sessions featured all 40+ drivers, 23 licensed Sprint Cup tracks, and the series' first authentic NASCAR game for PS4/Xbox One. The cover athlete selection was unique—highest-placing Toyota driver in the Sprint All-Star Race, won by Carl Edwards with fourth place. Reviewers destroyed the game, with Forbes giving 5.8/10 citing a "worthless" career mode, while FanSided awarded 4/10 saying it "came in dead last." The 40-player online multiplayer was a NASCAR video game first, though innovation couldn't save poor execution. Despite being rated E for Everyone and featuring 18 months of development, Heat Evolution exemplified how even exclusive licenses can't guarantee quality, leaving StreamerHouse's massive viewer spike as the game's most impressive statistic.
