Sid Meier's Civilization: Beyond Earth

Civilization: Beyond Earth landed at the house in 2018 and we took Firaxis's sci-fi spin on the Civ formula for a spin. Nearly 7 hours of building colonies on an alien world, negotiating with alien races, and planning turns that spiraled way longer than anticipated. We averaged 219 viewers with peak hitting 297, and those were the kinds of sessions where the house planned two hours and looked up six hours later. The 4X formula never gets old—whether you're managing Earth or terraform'd colonies, time just disappears into the grind of optimization.
