Skyrim at StreamerHouse
Skyrim launched in November 2011 and by the time 2013 rolled around, we were deep in it—this was Genesis era, literally where StreamerHouse streaming began. We had Tamriel streaming 24/7, audiences lost in the frozen landscape, exploring every hidden cave and guild quest, arguing about build diversity. We streamed 26 hours of pure exploration, the house packed with viewers creating their own stories in this massive open world. The thing about Skyrim is that everyone had a different approach—stealth archers, two-handed warriors, pure mages, and yeah, the joke about everyone becoming a stealth archer eventually. The modding community was already exploding by the time we streamed it, which meant the game never got stale. We watched people decide they'd finally do that pure mage playthrough, only to revert back to sneaking around with a bow within hours. Skyrim proved that open-world fantasy could sustain a 24/7 broadcast, and people would come back again and again.
Skyrim Twitch Statistics
We streamed Skyrim for 26 hours in 2013, generating 9,531.5 total hours watched with an exceptional average of 370 viewers per session. Peak viewers hit 472—solid numbers for an open-world fantasy game during the early days of 24/7 streaming. The engagement showed that Skyrim had staying power beyond launch hype.
