The Cycle: Frontier

The Cycle: Frontier showed up on our streams in 2022. Yager's free-to-play extraction shooter—drop in, loot, extract before time runs out. Decent gameplay loop, 277 peak viewers showed some interest. We spent about 3 hours with it, averaging 246 viewers. Thing is, the game shut down in September 2023. Only lasted 15 months. That's the brutal side of live service gaming—sometimes the vision just doesn't connect with an audience big enough to sustain operations. We got to document it while it lasted.
