Z1: Battle Royale at StreamerHouse
Z1: Battle Royale (formerly H1Z1: King of the Kill) dominated StreamerHouse across 2016-2017 with 578 peak viewers, capturing Daybreak Game Company's battle royale during its peak before Fortnite and PUBG changed everything. This was the game that helped popularize battle royale format on PC, spinning off from the survival game H1Z1 into its own standalone experience in September 2016. The streams documented those wild west days of battle royale when the genre was still finding its footing: 150 players dropping in, scavenging for weapons, racing to safe zones in cars, and fighting for that chicken dinner (before PUBG made that phrase famous). That 578-viewer peak across two years captured H1Z1's moment in the spotlight before PUBG's March 2017 launch began its decline. StreamerHouse preserved this important piece of battle royale history, showing where the genre came from before it conquered gaming.
